Team and accountants
The company owns its books and pays for the work; invite your accountant and your team.
Roles
A company belongs to its owner. The owner invites people by email and gives each a role:
| Role | Can | Who pays |
|---|---|---|
| Owner | Everything, including billing, invites and deleting the company | The company |
| Editor | Drop files, settle findings, close months, change the plan | The company |
| Viewer | Read the books, findings and forecast, and ask questions | The viewer, for their own questions |
An invite opens the company for whoever signs in with that email. The sign-in link proves the address.
A viewer pays for their own questions the way a lender or a buyer pays for their own diligence. Reading is free.
Accounting firms
Invite your accountant as an editor. A company's work can be billed to its owner or to another account, such as the firm's, so one firm can carry the cost for many clients.
